Blacksmith Courses

We attend a number of craft fairs and country shows to demonstrate the blacksmith's art . At our live demonstrations you can see the blacksmith using age-old techniques employing the forge, hammer and anvil.

 We also run a number of blacksmith courses from have a go days to advanced blacksmith training we also have open days at the forge.  If you would like to be informed of dates, please contact us to be added to our mailing list,

This is a course for you to have a go at forging

Basic blacksmithing Course

This is a course to learn the basic techniques of forging  lighting and using a forge hammer and anvil to forge shapes

Intermediate Blacksmithing

Learn hammer control, hardening and tempering, and rivet making. You will forge a pair of pick up tongs and all the tooling necessary to punch, drift, rivet, and assemble them. Projects will include a top rivet set, bottom rivet stake, center punch, scribe, round punch, and a punch plate or bolster.
